in Scarborough, Ontario, Mohraf Reupholstery is a family owned
business established in 1985. With over thirty five years of
experience, Mr. Mohraf reupholsters both commercial and
residential furniture.
While starting out servicing Metro Toronto, our clientele base has
expanded to the Greater Toronto Areas due to strong demands from
repeat and referred customers.

Reupholstery specializes in antique,
modern and custom built furniture. Our showroom features many
pieces of custom designed furniture created in our shop. We have
many sample
books with thousands of fabrics , leathers and vinyls
to fit any décor.
Our
skilled home and in store estimators are happy to give advice
regarding interior design, customized comfort and maintenance. We
understand that pets and children may play an important role in
your decision.
The
owner, Mr. Mohraf enjoys his work and stresses on fine
craftmanship. In fact, he personally inspects all pieces before
they leave the shop. Mohraf guarantees all workmanship for 5
years.

Why
Reupholster?
Often,
the sturdy frames are older and made from hard, heavy wood with
dowel hinges. The newer commercial furniture is often made from
low quality wood, which breaks easier, need repairs and
has lesser quality foam and spring jobs.
Basically if it is heavy and sturdy…it’s a gem and
reupholstering is a smart idea.

How
Do We Reupholster?

We
remove all old covering and filling down to the bare bone frame.

We
inspect the frame and springs and repair or replace them if required.

We
reweb and retie springs if needed.

We
reupholster using new, quality filling (felt, dacron or
foam).

We
add the finishing trims/skirts/scotch guarding etc.

Finally,
each piece is personally inspected for quality workmanship.
